What's In A Test? Professional Testing Opens New Corporate Headquarters
(ORLANDO, FL) What's in a test? If you've ever hired a licensed Florida contractor or had an EKG from a certified cardiographic technician, chances are they were tested through a program managed by Professional Testing. Representatives from Professional Testing held an open house at their new corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida today to let guests take a peek at what kind of space it takes to create a test.
In an age of mergers and acquisitions even the testing industry is not immune. Professional Testing, however, remains one of the few independently owned testing firms in the nation. Professional Testing is a full-service provider of assessment and evaluation services that works with businesses, industries, professional associations and licensure / certification agencies to ensure that today's workforce is competent.
Tripling in size over the past several years, space quickly became an issue for Professional Testing. To create a non-traditional, contemporary space that would meet current needs and growth of the very dynamic testing and certification industry, the award-winning Evans Group of Orlando was commissioned to design the new headquarters.
Realizing that the basic nature of work is social, the 8,000-square-foot space was designed to foster interaction over the more occasional need for private concentration. The new headquarters reflect the desire for a sense of community among the staff members working in the space.
"We are very pleased with the space The Evans Group created for us," said David Cox, President, Professional Testing. "With the introduction of a new corporate branding image, we wanted our new space to compliment that image in an appealing atmosphere for our staff and clients."
Organized around a centrally located brainstorming area, there is comfortable seating organized for interaction, a central library for reference material and areas for individual research. In addition, a coffee house style break room complete with a coffee bar, bistro seating and a clear acrylic bubble chair suspended from the ceiling are available for the staff to recharge and decompress.
